Guts, Glory and Puppets Rule the First ‘Ash Vs. Evil Dead’ Season 2 Trailer
We knew Ash Vs. Evil Dead would pull the chainsaw cord anew for a Comic-Con 2016 appearance, but who wants to wait weeks for fresh blood? Season 2 is already here withe a new rip-roaring trailer, chock-full of all the blood, guts, glory (and puppets?!) we’ve come to expect from Sam Raimi’s iconic hero.
E! News debuted the first official trailer for the new 10-episode season, ahead of Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 2 planting some sugar on Comic-Con 2016. Lucy Lawless’ Ruby appears firmly on the side of good in first footage, while those on a full post-lunch stomach may want to watch with caution.
In addition, check out the most recent Season 2 synopsis:
The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There, he confronts Ruby. The former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.
Elsewhere of Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 2, we know that Sam Raimi’s brother Ted will appear in the role of Ash’s childhood best friend Chet Kaminski, independent of the prior three appearances in other Evil Dead movies. Lee Majors, meanwhile, will play the role of Brock Williams, Ash’s father.
We’ll likely learn much more (and catch a larger trailer) from Comic-Con 2016, but what do we make of the latest look at Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 2?
