State authorities shot and killed a young bear after approaching campers near Baldwin Michigan.

According to ABC12, the bear was shot on Sunday and was believed to only be between 1-3 years old. Michigan Department of Natural Resources wildlife technician Katie Keen says the bear was shot on private property.

Apparently there were eight people camping, including kids and for whatever reason this bear kept coming to their camp site and would not go away, well he'd go away for a bit but then kept coming back and was showing signs of aggression towards the campers.

The DNR stated that shooting and killing the bear was not an easy decision, but was the best option.

I'm sure some people will be all pissed off over the fact that the bear was killed but honestly if it was showing signs of aggression and wouldn't go away, it had to be done.
