Graduating from college is a big deal, but lurking in the back of every graduate's mind is that dreaded question -- "how am I going to pay off these student loans?" Morehouse College's class of 2019 received an incredible (and incredibly unlikely) answer to that very question from the special commencement speaker at their graduation ceremony.

Technology investor and philanthropist billionaire Robert F. Smith, who has an honorary doctorate from the school, announced that he would be paying off all of the student loans for the class of 2019 at Sunday morning's graduation. The gift has been reported as worth up to $40 million.

The unexpected announcement made the class of 2019 and their parents ecstatic. A spokesperson for Morehouse College said the gift is the biggest single gift in the school’s history. Pretty cool thing to give back like that. I guess we all know who the class of 2020 is hoping will show up as their commencement speaker.
