A boil water advisory is in effect for Flint city residents due to a water main break.
According to reports, the advisory is affecting people in the area of Avon and 8th Street, bordered on the south by I-69, north by Court Street, west by Lapeer Road, and east by Gilkey Creek. Residents are instructed to boil water for one minute before using.
