For those looking to hit the slot machines, a casino in the upper peninsula will be opening this week.

On Wednesday, May 6th, Island Resort and Casino will be opening the doors up to the public once again. This will happen in phases to try and keep the guests safe. The first things to open on Wednesday will be the slot machines, select food service to go, select bars, Bingo, retail, VIP, and guest services.

All individuals entering the casino must be at least 18 years of age. Temperature checks will be done at the entrance to the casino and anyone with a temperature above 100 degrees will not be admitted. Masks are encouraged and available at the Island Club, guest services, or hotel desk. To see the complete details on guidelines and other rules, click here.
