Talinda Bennington, widow of late Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, has formally announced that she is now engaged and set to marry again.

The announcement came on her Twitter page, where she expressed joy in finding love after tragedy, vowing to actively continue her campaign for raising suicide awareness and prevention. Her fiancé, Michael F., is reported to be a Los Angeles firefighter per TMZ and as Talinda mentioned, she has the support of the Linkin Park family.

The full statement reads:

I am overjoyed to announce my engagement to my angel on earth, Michael F. I am here to tell you that you can find love after tragedy. That a death of a soulmate does not mean the death of you. My family, friends, and my Linkin Park brothers welcome him to the family with open arms. I will continue to honor Chester and continue my life's mission to make his passing not in vein [sic]. To all Suicide Loss Survivors, you CAN be happy again. You CAN have space in your heart for grief, joy, happiness, sadness, and love.

Thank you for ALL of your continued love and support.

Talinda and Chester married in 2006 and had three kids together — Tyler Lee (born 2006) and twins Lily and Lila (born 2011). Tragically, Chester took his own life on July 20, 2017 at the age of 41. Since his passing, Talinda has honored her late husband's life, co-founding the 320 Changes Direction which strives to promote mental well being.

Congratulations to Talinda and Michael F. on their engagement.
