City Of Lapeer Issues Advisory After Elevated Lead Detected In Water Lines
The City of Lapeer has issued a warning to residents after an elevated level of lead was found in water lines. According to WNEM TV-5, the advisory is only for customers who have a lead water service line to their home.
I think we can all agree, that most of us panic when we read 'elevated lead levels'. Honestly I was surprised to read that are roughly 70 Lapeer residents with lead service lines. Reports indicate that work is already underway to replace them with copper lines.
