Michigan Is Getting More Cold Stone Creamery Locations

Great news for Michigan ice cream lovers. Cold Stone Creamery has plans to expand throughout the Great Lakes State.

Cold Stone Creamery is known for its delicious ice cream, fun mix-in combinations, and watching your ice cream creation come together on the frozen granite stone.

According to PR Newswire, a new Cold Stone Creamery location is scheduled to open in Plymouth this fall. The company also plans to open eight to twelve new locations throughout Michigan over the next four years. That means there will be plenty of chances to grab some Cold Stone ice cream as the popular chain continues to expand across the state.

The expansion appears to be focused on the Metro Detroit area for now. Cold Stone Creamery brand leader Blake Borwick had this to say about the company’s growth in Michigan,

Michigan continues to be an exciting market for us, particularly as the Detroit metro area experiences renewed economic growth and investment. We know there are many loyal Cold Stone fans who currently travel significant distances to visit one of our stores, and we're looking forward to working with franchise partners to bring the brand closer to the communities that have been asking for it.

As the brand grows in Michigan, who knows - maybe we will see a location return to Genesee County. Do you remember the Grand Blanc location at the Grand Mall on Saginaw Street? That location closed in March of 2018.
