‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Officially Returning for Season 10
The wait for Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 10 will be prett-ay, prett-ay, prett-ay short. Despite taking six years between Seasons 8 and 9, Larry David and HBO officially confirm that the series will return for a tenth season in the immediate future.
HBO announced the news just days after the December 3 finale, adding that production will officially resume in spring 2018. As-yet-unknown is if the entire busy cast might return, or if the tenth season will continue production in Los Angeles. Said David of the news, “As I’ve said many times, when one has the opportunity to annoy someone, one should do so.”
That said, this renewal wasn’t nearly so uncertain as the last, given that David himself previously stated he was likely to begin thinking about Season 10 before long. Star J.B. Smoove had also suggested that ten seasons would make for a much better box-set than nine. The topic of Curb’s final season was also raised by the ante-penultimate Season 9 episode, which seemed to mimic the Seinfeld finale by revisiting some of Larry’s misdeeds over the course of the series.
A spring 2018 production date leaves it unclear when Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 10 might premiere, but stay tuned for the latest in the meantime.
