Flint Police are reminding parents and minors that the city's curfew will be in effect during the fireworks on the 4th of July. Consider yourself warned.

The city of Flint's public events curfew will be in effect from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Thursday, July, 4th. The same curfew hours will be in effect on Friday, July 5th in the following areas:

  • 5th Avenue
  • Cesar Chavez Drive
  • I-69, Hammerberg Road
  • Miller Road
  • Fox Street
  • North Chevrolet Avenue

Parents of any unaccompanied minors (persons 17-years-old and younger), found in these areas will face a $250 fine. Again, consider yourself warned. If you have any questions in regards to Flint's curfew, call the Flint Police Department at (810) 237-6800.
