Burger lovers, get ready - Detroit Burger Battle is right around the corner.

Detroit Burger Battle kicked off seven years ago as a fun way for Fairway Packing to show appreciation to the restaurants using their specialty ground beef. What started as a laid-back thank-you event quickly turned into a tasty showdown between some of metro Detroit’s best chefs, and it’s been heating up ever since.

When is the Detroit Burger Battle?

Prepare for an exciting afternoon. The Detroit Burger Battle is scheduled for Sunday, June 29th, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Shed 5 in Eastern Market.

The Eastern Market is at  2801 Russell Street (48207).

Ticket prices for the event are as follows,

• General Admission $35.05: This event includes unlimited samples of burgers from up to fifteen restaurants, along with entertainment and games.

• VIP $57.36: Score early entry at 11:00 AM and enjoy exclusive access to the chefs and staff from all participating restaurants. You'll also get to indulge in unlimited burger samples from up to 15 top spots, plus enjoy live entertainment, games, and more fun before the crowd rolls in.

Kids 5 and under are free. Detroit Burger Battle tickets can be purchased here. Ticket holder will vote for their top three burgers.

What restaurants are competing in the Detroit Burger Battle?

Detroit Burger Battle also features a cash bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails. Plus, ten local vendors.
