Detroit Man’s Good Deed Earns Him $100,000

What started as a random good deed ended up paying off big for a man from Metro Detroit.

Curtis Dixon did something kind without expecting anything in return, and somehow, it came back around, with a serious cash reward.

Mr. Dixon was heading into American Jewelry and Loan in Detroit to pawn his wedding ring. His lights were recently turned off, and he needed money to pay his past-due bill.

According to FOX 2 Detroit, just as he was about to head into the pawn shop, a blind man sitting outside asked for some help getting up, and Mr. Dixon didn’t hesitate to lend a hand.

The man then asked for a few dollars. Dixon said he would give the man some money after he took care of business inside the pawn shop.

It turns out that the man asking for help was actually an influencer named Zach Dereniowski, better known to his millions of followers as MDMotivator - and he is not blind.

When Dixon came back from the pawn shop, Zach revealed his true identity and surprised him by offering to cover his electric bill as a thank-you for his kindness.

But that is not all - the surprises kept coming.

MDMotivator provided Mr. Dixon with $5,000; he was gifted a car, and American Jewelry and Loan donated $2,500.

Only a few days later, he was gifted an incredible $100,000, thanks to donations from people around the world.
