Daylight Saving Time 2025: When Michigan Clocks Change
Daylight Saving Time is still a thing in Michigan.
Year after year, we hear that the practice of setting our clocks ahead and back may soon be coming to an end - as in no more Daylight Saving Time.
Yet, here we are preparing to turn our clocks back yet again. Will Daylight Saving Time ever really end in the Great Lakes State? I fear not, at least not in my lifetime.
When does Daylight Saving Time end in Michigan?
Michiganders will 'fall back' on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, at 2:00 AM. Are you excited for 4:00 PM sunsets? Yeah, me neither.
If you need something to look forward to, Michigan will 'spring forward' on Sunday, March 8th, 2026. Ugh.
It is especially tough for those of you who start your workday before the sun comes up, only to leave the office after it’s already gone down again. Spending all your daylight hours indoors can make the shorter days feel even longer, and not in a good way.
I am getting stressed out even thinking about the upcoming time change.
We will get through it, we always do. This is not our first Daylight Saving Time rodeo, and from the looks of things, it will most certainly not be our last.
Now, get outside and enjoy the sun (daylight) while you can.
