Everyone Has A Twin – Who Is Yours?
I always get nervous when someone says to me - 'You know who you look like?'. I have good reason to be nervous, nine chances out of ten, I am told I look like a dude. True story.
Everyone has at least one twin. I have two twins, Brian Johnson of AC/DC, and Luke Spiller of The Struts. I know I am not an identical twin to either of these guys, my eyes are bad, but not that bad - we just seem to have the same great taste in clothing.
I want to know if you have a 'twin' - what person are you told you resemble? Do you agree? Is it an insult or a compliment? Trust me from personal experience, I know what it is like to be insulted. Unless you are telling someone they look like a supermodel, you might not want to say it. Don't even get me started on telling someone they look like their dog. I have heard people do that. The look on the other persons face is like WTF?
Even if you are not an actual legit twin, maybe you get mistaken for a sibling. I have had that happen too. I think being an identical twin would be awesome. I would have totally done the typical switch classes in high school. If my mom was like 'I saw you smoking', I would be like - 'It wasn't me, it was my twin'. Clearly I would have been the evil twin.
Moral of the story, the next time someone says, 'You know who you look like?', start walking away and say - 'Your mom'.
