Falling in Reverse Announce ‘The Thug in Me Is You’ Fall 2012 Trek
Falling in Reverse are ready to pack away the lawn chairs and trade them in for some tour bus seats this fall. The band just revealed that they will be heading out in October for a month-and-a-half long trek they’ve dubbed “The Thug in Me Is You” tour.
The trek launches Oct. 11 in Portland, Ore., with I See Stars, Let Live and Matt Toka serving as support acts. I See Stars will play the entire run, while Let Live bow out after Nov. 28 and Matt Toka is only on for a handful of dates wrapping up Oct. 16. However, the tour gets a boost on Oct. 17 when Enter Shikari enters the trek, sticking around through the Dec. 1 finale.
Pre-sales are currently taking place here, with the traditional on-sale date starting this Friday.
Singer Ronnie Radke may be doing himself no favors with the tour title. Earlier this month the vocalist was arrested in Glendale, Calif., on an outstanding warrant for domestic assault. However, that hasn’t stopped the band from proceeding with tour plans.
At present, the Falling in Reverse are touring in support of their debut disc, ‘The Drug in Me Is You,’ but there have been some thoughts about a new record. Earlier this year, drummer Ryan Seaman stated that writing had begun, but they hadn’t gotten far enough into the process to discuss any specifics.
