There's a lot happening this weekend in Detroit to kick off October 2022.

Now that fall is officially here, Michiganders have to switch up what they do for fun on the weekends. With the exception of the extreme outdoor enthusiasts, people throughout the state are storing camping equipment and beach gear and have to look elsewhere for entertainment.

Even though some outdoor activities are no longer applicable, Michigan still offers endless entertainment options. From casinos to concerts, to sports and fall food festivals, the options are plentiful.

As we approach the weekend and move into October, there are plenty of things to do in Detroit as the new month begins. This weekend along will bring comedians, music artists, athletes, and more to the Motor City. Big names like Post Malone, Rickey Smiley, Jack Harlow, Amy Schumer, and more will be in Detroit for performances this weekend.

So if you are out and about in Detroit this weekend, keep your eyes open. Just because some of these celebrities are here to perform a show, doesn't mean that you won't see them outside the venue they are scheduled at. I've been lucky enough to bump into several celebrities in Detroit when they have been in town to perform. They are just like us and want to experience the city as well.
