Where in Fenton Township Will These Roundabouts Be Located?
Two roundabouts will be located at both ends of the Thompson Road bridge, which passes over U.S. 23.
According to Tri-County his project aims to tackle traffic issues and enhance safety along the Thompson Road Corridor, while also improving accessibility for local developments and fostering economic expansion.
When Will This Road Construction Project Start?
Don't start planning your detour route just test as the project isn't expected to get underway until the spring of 2026.
It's unclear what the future project will cost.
I don't know what it is about roundabouts that some people hate. I'm not sure if it's the unfamiliarity or lack of experience with navigating them, which can lead to feelings of uncertainty or anxiety. I know people personally who have extreme anxiety every time they drive through a roundabout. It's so bad that they will drive out of their way to avoid driving through one.
Roundabouts have become increasingly popular in the U.S. over the years, and more and more people are becoming more comfortable driving through them.
According to the Federal Highway Administration, the first modern American roundabouts were built in 1990 on the west side of Las Vegas.
