Famous Food Reviewer Calls Fenton-Based Deli Owner ‘Sandwich Jesus’

Hallelujah! Sandwich Jesus is alive and well in none other than Fenton, Michigan.

Now, it's not me who has given this restaurant owner and killer sandwich-maker this title, it was Walter J. Johnson, the man behind Michigan BBQ Addicts.

Johnson is a pit boss with a combined 511,000+ followers on social media. He creates videos and judgement-free online communities for people to learn how to BBQ. He also occasionally visits different BBQ and sandwich joints across the state to review on his TikTok and Instagram pages.

Recently, he made a pit stop in Fenton at Fenton Deli and posted his review on TikTok.

He called the local deli a "hidden gem" and mentioned that he loves it so much that he brought his wife there back in 2015 when they first met.
