Well, it looks like another vehicle recall is in the works. This time around Chrysler is recalling more than 365,000 vehicles because the rearview camera image could possibly stay illuminated for more than 10 seconds after vehicles are shifted out of reverse. This could be a distraction for some drivers.

According to Mid Michigan Now, the recall covers certain Ram pickups and Chrysler Pacifica, Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler, and Jeep Renegade vans and SUVs from 2019 and 2020.

I drive a Dodger Ram pickup and my girlfriend has a Jeep Grand Cherokee so it's looking there's a good possibility we'll be getting a notification when they start contacting owners on May 22nd.

Hell, I still haven't dealt with the last recall I had on my truck from last year.

This fix seems like it will be an easy one though as the software can be updated by the dealer or over the internet.
