Financial Plus to Award Two Students with $1,000 Scholarship

Financial Plus Credit Union is back with its annual "You are the Future" scholarship program.

Financial Plus Credit Union is stepping up to help two local high school students with a $1,000 scholarship. The "You are the Future" Financial Plus Credit Union Scholarship will be awarded to two students of the 2020 graduating class.

Those students interested in the scholarship must be graduating in 2020 with a 3.0 GPA or higher or be a current full-time college or university student with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Applications are being accepted now through May 1, 2020. All candidates must complete the application and provide a short essay of 500 words or less. The essay must be about how the candidate will make a positive impact in their community or how they are already making an impact in the community.
