Michigan’s First Bojangles Restaurant Announces Opening Date

Michigan is set to welcome its first Bojangles restaurant in February 2026.

Bojangles is a fast-food restaurant founded in 1977 and known for its Southern-style food, including fried chicken, Cajun chicken, biscuits, sides, and more.

There are currently over 800 locations in the United States, and Kent County can now be added to that list. That's right - the first Bojangles restaurant in the Great Lakes State is opening in Wyoming, southwest of Grand Rapids.

When does Bojangles open in Wyoming, Michigan?

The grand opening is scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, 2026. According to WZZM 13, the new restaurant is located at 1730 28th Street in Wyoming, 49519.

Bojangles serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The menu includes several breakfast sandwich options, salads, boneless chicken options, multiple family meal options, and sides - dirty rice, Bo fries, mac & cheese, Cajun pintos, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, green beans, and more.

Will more Bojangles locations be opening in Michigan?

Unfortunately, at this time, I could not find any reports of additional Bojangles locations opening in Michigan. We will certainly keep you updated.

If you are a foodie and willing to take a road trip to Wyoming for the Bojangles grand opening, plan accordingly.

From the Flint area, the drive takes around two hours. From Lapeer County, expect it to take over two hours.

Will I be making the drive to Bojangles in Wyoming? No. However, the next time I’m in Grand Rapids visiting my sister, I will be sure to check it out.
