Flint Police Investigate Miller Road Shooting
Flint Police were called to a horrible scene on Miller Rd the other day that left a 20-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the head and the 22-yr-old suspect in custody.
Details are saying that the victim in question was shot by her boyfriend. I don't care what's going on in your relationship, you should never harm the person you are in a relationship with. You should just leave when tensions get too high or do what I do. Go dark, and just don't speak to them.
Investigators say when officers arrived on the scene they learned that an altercation had taken place between the victim and her ex-boyfriend along the Miller Rd. corridor
Police say several shots were fired by the suspect and the victim was struck while she was a passenger in a vehicle. Police say the male suspect, a 22-year-old City of Flint resident was later located by police and interviewed by Flint Township investigators. Source:NBC25.com
This is just a horrible situation altogether. I can't imagine what that family is going especially when the shooter was her boyfriend. If you see your friends wrapped in a toxic relationship please say something to them. Nowadays the roles in relationships have become blurred, maybe because of social media, or maybe something else. But I do know that this isn't the first time and it won't be the last. This is why it's vital that you speak to your friends or family if you see early signs of abuse or toxicity. A simple conversation can plant a seed that might save someone's life.
