Ford Field Teases Foo Fighters Detroit 2026 Date

Something big is brewing. Live Nation and Ford Field are teasing a massive Foo Fighters show in August 2026.

Rumors of a 2026 Foo Fighters tour have been swirling on social media, and a recent teaser video has many fans, myself included, thinking those rumors might just be true.

I am no detective, but it appears Foo Fighters will most likely be playing Ford Field in Detroit on August 6th, 2026.

Like I said, I am no detective - but even I think I have cracked this case.

While the tour rumors remain unconfirmed, one thing I can say with absolute certainty is that the Foo Fighters are dropping a brand-new song titled 'Asking For A Friend'  tomorrow, Thursday, October 23rd, 2025. Fans do not have to wait long to get a taste; you can catch a preview of the track in the video below.

If the rumored 2026 tour becomes a reality, it would mark a major milestone for the band, the first official tour featuring Ilan Rubin as the Foo Fighters' new drummer.

Rubin previously played drums for Nine Inch Nails and Angels & Airwaves.

In other new tour news, Bon Jovi announced a handful of tour dates today for 2026. Unfortunately, no Michigan dates are included. Your options are New York or London, Edinburgh, or Dublin.

• July 12th, 2026: Madison Square Garden
• July 14th, 2026: Madison Square Garden
• August 28th, 2026: Edinburgh, UK
