Frank’s Hoppy Bistro Opening In Fenton
I was so excited when I woke up this morning and read that my friend Rachel Medore is opening up a restaurant in Fenton. Rachel, along with her husband Shayne and business partner Kevin Kihn will be opening Frank's Hoppy Bistro.
Many of you remember Frank's Tavern, Rachel is also a previous owner of the former Fenton hot spot. This is great news for Frank's Tavern fans (myself included), because Frank's Hoppy Bistro will be will be bringing some original Frank's recipes to the table. Along with some familiar favorites, guests will also be able to enjoy delicious artisan pizzas along with specially selected beer and wines.
Frank's Hoppy Bistro will be located on Thompson Road, in the former Canadian Steak Fish and Sandwich Co. building. Talk about location, location, location - this is great. I love it for purely selfish reasons because it is close to my house. All kidding aside the spot is great, it is literally just off of US-23.
My dad was a huge Frank's Tavern fan. The fish & chips were the bomb. I wish he was still here to enjoy it when Frank's Hoppy Bistro opens. I will definitely be having some in his honor when they open (along with a beer of course). The plan is to open in October 2021.
Congratulations to Rachel, Shayne and Kevin. I love that you are bringing back a popular Fenton institution with your own touches. I will see you in October.
