GoFundMe Page Started For Flushing Teen Killed By Car While Walking

News of a teen girl being hit by a car in Flushing on Monday has ended tragically. Alaina Ullmer, 13, was walking across Carpenter Road (between Prestonwood Land and Delane Roads), when she was struck.

Reports indicate it was a female Flushing High School student that hit her. Ullmer was taken to Hurley Medical Center, where she later passed due to a severe head injury. I cannot even imagine what her family and friends are going through. This is a terrible ordeal for all parties involved. A Go Fund Me page has since been set up to help with funeral costs.
