Earlier today, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced another extension to her stay-at-home order. The new order extends through May 15th but this time around, she's lightened up on some of the restrictions that were previously put in place.

According to Mid-Michigan Now, the order says people are now required to wear face coverings in enclosed public spaces such as grocery stores if they can medically tolerate it. The masking requirement takes effect on April 26, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. Landscapers, lawn-service companies, plant nurseries, and bike repair shops can resume operating as well.

The public can also now participate in more outdoor activities such as golf (no carts allowed) and motorized boating.

As a bonus to her new order, she's also allowing big-box retailers to pull down the stupid yellow tape that was stopping all of us from buying paint and other items that were deemed nonessential.

One thing Michiganders will be happy about is that people with multiple in-state homes can resume traveling between them, though it's strongly discouraged.
