You may recognize someone you know in this beautiful video, put together by the Grand Blanc Schools Elementary Music program.

Students and staff from throughout the Grand Blanc district shared their voices on this touching version of 'You Raise Me Up,' originally performed by Josh Groban.

The video was posted on the district's Facebook page along with some words of encouragement for anyone who watches.

"Now more than ever is a time when we must remember to build each other up and lend a helping hand to those around us. Together we are strong and will rise up through these difficult times!"

The students and staff who put the video together can be proud of their work. In just a handful of hours after being shared Tuesday afternoon (8/25), it's been viewed over 37,000 times and shared by more than 800 people.

Comments from people in the Grand Blanc area to those in other locations have been overwhelmingly positive.

Elizabeth Hamilton commented:  "This seriously gave me chills for almost the entire video. What an amazing job they all did. Bravo To all those involved. Thank you so much for sharing this."

From Suzette Galloway:  "I grew up the Grand Blanc schools and am now a grandmother living in California. I am so proud of seeing the spirit and talent and love coming from this wonderful video. God Bless You All."

Take a look at the video here. Nicely done, folks. All of us at Cars 108 think this is beautifully done. Stay safe and best wishes throughout the school year.

Grand Blanc Schools announced that they will begin this school year exclusively with remote learning on September 8.
