You could seriously eat your way through Michigan this summer. There are so many food festivals from Lake Orion, to Royal Oak, Lapeer, and in this case Grand Rapids.

The Grand Rapids Foodie Fest is on the calendar for July. The event features three days of food (duh), live local music, dancing, drinks, local merchants, vendors, and more. Here are all of the details to date on this exciting festival.

When is the Grand Rapids Foodie Fest?

  • Friday, July 1st: 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM
  • Saturday, July 2nd: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM
  • Sunday, July 3rd: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Where is the Grand Rapids Foodie Fest?

The festival is set up at Calder Plaza, located at 300 Monroe Avenue in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Do I need to buy a ticket to the Grand Rapids Foodie Fest?

Nope, admission is free. Food and drinks of course will have to be paid for.

How many food vendors will be on-site at the Grand Rapids Foodie Fest?

Numerous food trucks, local restaurants, and food vendors will be on-site featuring carefully chosen curated food and drinks. A complete list of food vendors and merchants has not yet been released, but I will update this post as soon as participants are announced. Let's just say it must be one hell of a food selection because this festival attracts well over 10,000 people annually.

You can certainly follow the Grand Rapids Foodie Fest Facebook page for additional announcements too.  A full schedule of events should be arriving this month. If boating and beaching it are not your idea of a fun Fourth of July weekend, this is definitely a great alternative. Why put on a bathing suit when you can slap on some cut-off sweats and eat your way through Grand Rapids? That sounds like a great plan to me.
