The Oakland County Health Division has reported a suspected case of Hepatitis A at the popular Clarkston, Michigan outdoor music venue.

According to reports from the Oakland County Health Division, anyone who consumed food in the Ivy Lounge located inside Pine Knob, between August 28th and September 8th may have been exposed.

If you were at any of the shows listed below, the Oakland County Health Division recommends you monitor yourself for symptoms, and if you are unvaccinated for hepatitis A, get vaccinated.

Some symptoms of hepatitis A are as follows,

  • Abdominal Pain
  • Diarrhea
  • Headache
  • Dark urine
  • Vomiting
  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
  • Yellow skin

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, symptoms usually appear two to seven weeks after infection.

You are encouraged to take the proper steps by getting checked and vaccinated if necessary. It is better to be safe, than sorry. Be sure to contact your specific county health department for vaccination information.
