Heroin use in the Midwest is increasingly up. One local mom who lost her son to an overdose, continues to search for answers in regards to his death and wants to warn everyone about this deadly drug. 

Lori Vernier of Macomb County got the knock on the door from police that no parent wants to ever get. Authorities informed her that her 18-year-old son Matthew was gone. What makes it even worse is the two friends he was with were seen dragging his body and placing it in his Jeep - that is where he was found.
