How Tall Is the Tallest Man in Michigan? [VIDEO]

The tallest man in Michigan is so tall that he has to have his clothing and even his bicycle custom made. Standing at 7 feet 7 inches, Mike Lanier has earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records along with his twin brother as "The World's Tallest Twins."

In a recent report from ClickonDetroit, the 45-year-old Lanier explains that life as a certified giant is not the easiest life to live.

"As soon as new people see me it's just always a circus," he said. "Flying is very expensive. I can only fit in the first class. Dating is very frustrating because I have so many people coming up to me I have no idea if the girl is interested in me or if she's just curious about my height."

The word on the street is that Lanier wears a size 17 shoe, so there is a distinct possibility that the women he encounters are interested in finding out the answer to the question, “You know what they say about a man with big feet?”
