If you are a fan of "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom," you have a chance to ride in a 1928 Ford Tri-Motor plane, similar to the one in the movie, this weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm, you can head to Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport to take a flight in this plane. Adult walk-up tickets are available for $77 while supplies last. If you are looking to take the family, children 17 and under are only $52. You might want to call ahead to check the availability at 920-379-8339. The trips are about 30 minutes long with about 15 minutes in the air.

The 'Indiana Jones' series was one of my favorites growing up. I have often said that when I die, I want the 'Indiana Jones' theme song to be played while my casket is being wheeled out to the hearse. That is not even a joke, I want that to happen. I feel it will leave the people at my funeral feeling better and leaving with some sort of smile.
