Growing up with Italian grandparents I was used to walking through the door and having food immediately in my face being told to "mangiare, mangiare" ( eat, eat). Of course, I was happy to oblige, and who wouldn't be with all that delicious authentic Italian food?

I need to note, that I have dined at Cantoro Trattoira and while it was amazing, there are some spectacular authentic Italian restaurants right here in Genesee County. A few big-time favorites of mine for that homemade flair are Da Edoardo North in Grand Blanc and Ruggeros in Flint.
