Psychologist Deborah Serani told Glamour magazine about the impact it has on us, physically and mentally.

“It creates a neurological change that can produce happiness. Putting up the Christmas decorations will cause a spike in dopamine, a feel-good hormone, she says.”

Couple that with good nostalgia vibes while admiring your finished product with sentimental ornaments and beautiful lights -- it warms your heart.
