Jack in the Box Michigan Locations: Are They Still Happening?
Jack in the Box recently announced plans to close 200 underperforming locations nationwide, but what does that mean for the five new locations planned for Michigan?
In case you missed it, back in September 2024, the burger giant announced it would be opening in Michigan for the first time ever, with five locations in the works.
The plan was to open the first Jack in the Box location in Battle Creek, with plans for additional restaurants in the following West Michgian counties,
- Kalamazoo County
- Calhoun County
- Kent County
In November 2024, news broke about a five-restaurant deal in the Detroit area. According to the official press release, this agreement adds to the brand’s earlier announcement to open five locations in West Michigan with a separate franchisee.
No specific Metro Detroit locations were named.
All in all, it looks like Jack in the Box is still moving forward in the Great Lakes State; there is no evidence suggesting otherwise. If you know otherwise, be sure to let me know.
How could Jack in the Box not be a hit in Michigan? It’s a new food option, people are bound to go wild for it.
If you are not familiar with the Jack in the Box menu, the spot is known for burgers, tacos, chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, all-day breakfast, and late-night munchies.
What's not to love?
I’ll keep you in the loop - fingers crossed, my next Jack in the Box update for Michigan comes with an opening date.
