How did I not know about Jacq N Diane's Juice Box in Holly, Michigan?

Kevin Zink, owner of The Machine Shop, recently mentioned the place to me, and I assumed it was new.

As it turns out, Jacq N Diane's has been around since 2015. I can't believe I've been missing out all this time.

Jacq N Diane's Juice Box is a vegan, gluten-free spot with a juice and smoothie bar.

Jacq N Diane's Juice Box is a family-run vegan and gluten-free eatery with a juice and smoothie bar, and it has a pretty awesome backstory, too.

Owner Jacquie Allen is very candid about her past issues of poor eating and poor health. According to Jacq N Diane's website, she tried countless diets and diet pills to lose weight.

In 2012, Jacquie and her mom, Diane, were involved in a serious car accident. As you can imagine, that was no help at all in helping her transform her body and health.

What helped Jacquie was watching a documentary,

I watched a documentary called Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. This was a HUGE wake-up call for me. The very next day, I bought a juicer.  I IMMEDIATELY started a Juice fast.

I told myself I can no longer ignore the importance of actually taking care of myself, and this documentary helped me kick-start things into action.
