
Catch Jeff Daniels Live at Jackson’s Michigan Theatre
Award-winning actor and musician Jeff Daniels is set to headline a free event at the Michigan Theatre in Jackson later this month.
The special appearance will help celebrate the return of Steve Tucker, who recently resumed his role as Executive Director of the Michigan Theatre of Jackson.
Daniels grew up in Michigan and opened the Purple Rose Theatre Company in Chelsea in 1991.

When is Jeff Daniels performing at the Michigan Theatre of Jackson?
Daniels will perform on Thursday, June 11, 2026. According to MLive, the event schedule is as follows:
- Doors open at 4:00 p.m.
- Event begins at 5:00 p.m.
- Remarks followed by a live performance from Jeff Daniels
- Event concludes at 7:00 PM
Where is the Michigan Theatre located?
The Michigan Theatre is located at 124 North Mechanic Street in downtown Jackson. If you are traveling from the Flint area, plan on about a 1-hour, 30-minute drive. From the Lapeer area, the trip takes roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes.
