A Detroit, Michgian hotspot was recently named the most exciting restaurant in America.

Selected by leading industry experts, this unique restaurant was recently recognized as Resy’s One to Watch by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, highlighting its growing influence and innovative dining approach.

What Michigan Restaurant was named the most exciting restaurant in America?

The honor goes to Ladder 4 Wine Bar. This one-of-a-kind spot is located inside a 115-year-old firehouse on Vinewood Street in southwest Detroit.

According to The World’s 50 Best, brothers and co-owners James and Patrick Cadariu began restoring the building in 2019, taking care to preserve its rich history throughout the process.

Ladder 4 is a fusion of French bistro meets the Great Lakes State. A significant portion of the food is seasonal, with many ingredients grown in an on-site garden and meat from local farmers.

Our menu changes with the seasons, and what we think looks good right now. We're building relationships with the people who grow our food and make our wine - people who care as much about their craft as we do about ours.
