I was not a fan of cooking until I was forced to cook at home due to the pandemic. That being said, I have always enjoyed watching other people cook, in particular on cooking shows.

One of my favorites has always been 'Diners Drive-Ins and Dives' on the Food Network. The spots that get featured on the show bring a lot to the table (pun intended) and that does include quite a few awesome Michigan restaurants.

I would imagine as a restaurant owner it is quite an honor to appear on the popular television show, even more so if you get a return visit from Guy Fieri and the Food Network crew. That is exactly the case for a popular restaurant in Lansing.

Eastside Fish Fry & Grill will be featured on Triple D for a second time this Friday, February 11th at 8:00 PM. If you are not familiar with the restaurant, the Food Network describes the hot spot as follows,

Eastside Fish Fry & Grill is known for its amazing chicken wings, prepared with a 48-hour dry rub marinade and fried to order. The adventurous can also find local delicacies like crispy fried gizzards and pig skins, aka deep-fried bacon strips.

As you can imagine, the folks at Eastside Fish Fry & Grill are excited to be appearing on the hit show again. They posted the exciting news on their Facebook page last week. I have never been to Eastside Fish Fry & Grill, but I would like to go. From the Flint area, it is roughly an hour drive, from the Lapeer area just over an hour.

I love seeing a Michigan spot getting recognized nationally. We have so many great restaurants locally, who would you like to see featured on Triple D too?
