Logan’s Roadhouse and Old Chicago Closes 261Restaurants, Firing all Workers
It's the final nail in the coffin for laid-off employees of Logan's Roadhouse and Old Chicago. Craftworks, the company behind the restaurant chains has reportedly fired thousands of workers and closed hundreds of locations.
The New York Post is reporting that CraftWorks acknowledged in a bankruptcy court filing last week that it had “laid off” nearly all of its 18,000 employees and shuttered its 261 restaurants in response to regulations several states have imposed to stem the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
The "laid off" employees just found out the move was a permanent one after receiving a notice.
Craftworks says they hope to reopen once this crisis passes.
It's so brutal right now and to hear that 18,000 people will be out of work on top of the millions that are already without jobs is heartbreaking. If you're currently working don't take it for granted, be very thankful.
There are multiple Old Chicago and Logan's Roadhouse locations across the state of Michigan. In Flint, Logan's Roadhouse is located on Miller Road in front of the Genesee Valley Center.
