Man Steals Sound System and Gets Caught When He Comes Back for the Remote

A New Jersey man was arrested when he was caught stealing the remote that went to a sound system that he stole just 30 minutes prior. 

The Huffington Post reports that 42 year old Carlos Ruiz was arrested Thursday and charged with burglary after being caught on a surveillance camera walking out of a home with a sound system and other items.  A local newspaper said that while he was in the home he found time to feed the dog.  Maybe that was why he forgot the remote.  Police say he stole the items to pay for his heroin addiction.  With that being said, I'd guess that was the actual reason for forgetting the remote.  Ruiz is currently being held at Camden County Correctional Facility with a $100,000 cash bond.
