The winter storm that plowed over the Upper Peninsula in mid-February 2021 was a doozy, even by UP standards. Take a look at how this family from Manistique looked to make light of the buttloads of fresh powder they were dusted with.

Fun or crazy? I guess that depends on your perspective on a Yooper winter. No surprise most of the comments were decidedly in the 'fun' category:

That looked fun! Brr...

Lol Looks fun !! We trolls like to do that also when we get enough snow . We have about 20 in in my backyard right now. My son took a dive 2 days ago, but he had snow pants. I see some parts of the UP got 50 in.

Yep, done and done ✔️ in Wisconsin too. Done with the below zero for over a week, tho. Give me snow every few days not the cold crap

Yoopers are the beat people on earth!

WOW!!! Now that ia a YOOPER!!!

The Yooper plunge!

To give you just an idea of how much snow fell on Manistique. Here's a drive around some backroads in what looks like an ORV.

Manistique, on the north shore of Lake Michigan, was the big winner in this storm's snowfall sweepstakes, with a reported 32 inches of fresh snow.
