If you go to high school sporting games across the state of Michigan and yell at the officials over bad calls, then say to yourself "I could do a better job than that ref" -- now is your chance to put your money where your mouth is.

The Michigan High School Athletic Association is looking for officials for all levels of competition. There is a lack of officials in the Genesee County area and with some pending officials retiring this year there is a big concern moving forward.

The MHSAA is looking for both men and women in their search for new officials. There will be classes held at Swartz Creek High School starting next month for anyone who is interested in becoming a sporting official. For more information on the classes click here.

This is a great thing to do and give back to the sport you love and make some cash as well.
