MI Distillery Opens Individual Outdoor Heated Tents For Guests
Iron Fish Distillery is ready to open "Base Camp Iron Fish" for winter drinking.
If you are looking for a place to enjoy some food and drinks with friends outdoors this winter, Iron Fish Distillery has your back. The Thompsonville distillery will be opening its new outdoor tent area called "Base Camp Iron Fish" tomorrow.
The new tent village will consist of individual heated, waterproof, breathable canvas tents for guests to enjoy. Those wishing to enjoy a meal and some drinks at "Base Camp Iron Fish" will be able to take advantage of one of their three different sized tents. The distillery will be able to accommodate groups of 2-4 and 6-8 people and the tents are available for 90-minute timeframes. The new tents will be refreshed and sanitized between each use and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
These past 9 months have been all about reinventing how we can have the best outdoor service for guests. Base Camp Iron Fish is our latest effort to do just that, and we think it is going to be an absolute blast...We love winter and playing outside in the snow...Being so close to Crystal Mountain, we have a lot of guests that feel that same way. We thought the tents kind of evoked the sense of a mountaineering base camp, so Base Camp Iron Fish was born...said Iron Fish Partner Sarah Anderson.
If hanging out in a tent is not exactly your style, Iron Fish Distillery also has seating on a heated, covered outdoor patio and at picnic tables surrounding big bonfires. It doesn't stop there either as they will also have a heated outdoor spirit tasting and merchandise area. Outdoor live music and other events are also planned for the winter.
