MI Semi Drivers Line Up Trucks To Help Suicidal Man [VIDEO]
Michigan State Police received a call shortly after 1:00 a.m. this morning about a suicide threat. An unidentified man on an overpass above 696 in Oak Park, threatening to jump. Authorities acted fast and had thirteen semi truck line up to shorten the fall if he did indeed jump.
Thank goodness he did not jump and was taken to Beaumont Hospital. I have no idea what he was going through, I am just relieved he did not jump. Unfortunately, I have lost friends to suicide as many of you may have. There are more often than not unanswered questions. We feel like we could have done something. If you are struggling with anything - trust me you will get through it. There is really light at the end of the tunnel. Lord knows it does not feel that way, but it's true.
Much respect to the semi truck drivers that were a part of this lineup. We all have people on our side, even strangers.
