Michigan Carjacker Asks Victim To Open His Beer
Just when I thought I could no longer be surprised. I am not like birthday party surprised, just shaking my head in disbelief surprised. You cannot make things like this up. Is there a show called 'Carjackers Do the Dumbest Things'? There should be, and this clown could be the first contestant.
During a recent carjacking in Pontiac, a thief had the nerve (or enough of a buzz), to ask the unidentified vehicle owner to open a beer for him. The carjacker then slammed the beer, and forced the victim out of the vehicle. Did I mention he also had a gun? He did.
According to WXYZ, the carjacking happened at East Rundell Street and North Glenwood Avenue on Sunday, February 21st. The carjacker approached the victim at a stop sign and asked him to roll down his window. I don't know why, but the victim did roll down his window (ugh). That is when the carjacker was able to get into the vehicle, and show a gun. He forced the victim to drive to a location, and that is where he drank the beer and also threatened to kill the driver.
The suspect has yet to be apprehended, and is described as roughly 5'8" tall, around 30 years of age with a thin build and dread locks with blonde tips. The vehicle involved is 2003 black Ford Expedition with one front hub cap center painted blue and a silver front plate with the CAT logo. My guess is it already hit a chop shop, but you never know.
