Michigan Drivers, Stop Using This Dangerous Car Accessory Now
Did you know that you more than likely have something in your car right now that’s intended to make your ride more comfortable but could actually be causing more harm than good?
Michigan drivers are known to have little knick-knacks and accessories floating around their vehicles, including everything from coffee mugs and phone mounts to dashboard figurines and air fresheners. While these items might seem harmless, some could actually be putting your health at risk.
There's a good chance that, right now, you have an air freshener clipped to your vents, plugged into your vehicle's outlet, or maybe one of those little, ugly scented trees hanging from your rearview mirror. Well, I'm here to tell you that all of the above are extremely unhealthy and even dangerous.
It's hard to believe that something as common as an air freshener could be considered dangerous, but it's true.
According to the National Motorists Association, a lot of people over the years have developed sensitivities or allergies to certain chemicals in scents, and those can trigger anything from headaches and nausea to sneezing, itchy eyes, or even more serious respiratory issues.
Much proof exists that air fresheners of all types, including hanging air fresheners, vent style fresheners, and other styles are toxic, harmful to your health, and even dangerous.
The fragrance industry is a shady business that's been making people sick for years. A lot of the companies behind many air fresheners don’t list the chemicals that are actually in them, leaving consumers in the dark about what they’re breathing in.
It’s not just the air fresheners in your car; those in your home are just as toxic. If you or a family member suffers from asthma, it’s time to get rid of all air fresheners, candles, and wax melts.
I used all of the above for years and couldn’t figure out why I was constantly coughing, wheezing, and needing to use an inhaler several times a day. Once I got rid of them, my symptoms disappeared.
