Summer is a great time to pick up extra work in Michigan and the Department of Natural Resources is hiring.

Over 200 jobs are waiting to be filled within the Michigan Department of Natural Resources' wildlife division. If you like being outdoors or even just want to learn more about wildlife, check out what the DNR has available.

Some of the jobs they are looking to fill are in DNR state field offices, customer service centers, and state game areas. These seasonal jobs offer a host of options such as assisting in habitat maintenance, mowing, landscaping, wildlife surveys, collecting data, assisting hunters, and more.

If I wasn't so damn busy during the summer, I would love to have one of these jobs. Even if you hate some of the weather we put up with, Michigan is one of the most beautiful places to live if you love the outdoors.
