Michigan Driver Allegedly Intoxicated Caught on Camera
It's pretty scary to be driving behind someone that's obviously highly intoxicated because you have no idea what's going to happen and there's not really much you can do aside from calling the police.
Witnesses in Wyandotte found themselves in a similar situation earlier this morning as they were driving behind a woman that was allegedly highly intoxicated and driving on and off the road and crashing into things. Luckily they were able to catch some of the situation on camera.
The witnesses lost track of the woman after she ran a red light but police were eventually able to catch up to her and pulled her over and arrested her.
According to WXYZ, the driver is a 57-year-old Gibraltar woman who appeared highly intoxicated. Police say they found a substance they believe is heroin in the car and believe she was driving while high on narcotics.
It's amazing this lady didn't kill herself or worse, someone else.
This happened to me not too long ago in the middle of the afternoon. I was driving home from work and the person in front of me was all over the road. They almost hit multiple cars head-on, it was the scariest thing. It was very obvious that they were hammered as hell. Luckily a police cruiser was behind me and saw the whole thing and pulled them over.
In this day and age (or ever), there is no excuse for drinking and driving. There's an app at your fingertips which will lead you to an Uber or Lyft driver. Of course in this situation, there was a lot more going on than just drinking and driving.
