Michigan Hates Social Media More Than All Other States

In a world completely taken over by social media, Michigan residents hate it the most.

No matter how you feel about it, social media is tied to everything in the world right now. It is a big part of how we stay in touch, see new things, get the news, and so much more. It is even tough to imagine what things would be like with our it right now.

Well, according to a study by thinkbiganalytics.com, even though it is a huge part of our lives, it appears that Michigan residents hate it more than anyone. The study also points out that while Michiganders hate social media, they also use it more than other states.

This study tracked Twitter chatter and looked for phrases such as "I hate social media" and "I hate Twitter" and other phrases such as this. With that information in hand, they found that Michigan hates social media the most. Here are the top 10 states that hate social media.

2. West Virginia
3. Texas
4. Indiana
5. Ohio
6. Illinois
7. New Jersey
8. Georgia
9. Nebraska
10. Alabama

I won't lie, I am right there with the people that hate social media. There are many reasons for that as well. It is so ingrained in everything that I do, especially here at the radio stations. Sometimes, too much of something is a bad thing. To make matters worse, there are not a lot of things I enjoy on social media at the moment. If I wanted to see my friends argue and hate each other, I would just get a 12 pack and hang out with them. Ha!
